In the glass, the Tradition Brut exhibits a fine, persistent effervescence with a brilliant golden hue, hinting at its refined nature. The nose is an enticing bouquet of yellow stone fruits mingled with hints of red berries, providing a complex aromatic palette underscored by subtle yeast and mineral tones. On the palate, it unveils a delicate, silky texture, with an elegant balance of fruitiness and acidity. The red berry notes complement a creamy, yet lively mousse, leading to a bright, mineral finish that echoes with finesse. Vinifikation
The grapes for this extraordinary sparkling wine are sourced from three distinctive German locations: Bürgstadt, the Taubertal, and the Kaiserstuhl, each contributing unique terroir characteristics. Harvested with the utmost care, the base wines spend eleven months resting on the fine lees in large oak barrels allowing for natural malolactic fermentation. Following the traditional méthode champenoise, the wine undergoes a secondary fermentation in the bottle, maturing for an impressive 34 months before disgorgement in June 2023. The resulting dosage is delicately balanced at 2 g/l, enhancing its refined profile.

Sekthaus BurkhardtSchür Tradition Brut pairs beautifully with an array of culinary delights, from delicate seafood dishes to sophisticated poultry options. Its fine acidity and mineral backbone are complemented by the freshness of oysters or a creamy goat cheese tart. Best enjoyed at a serving temperature of 6-8°C, decanting is not necessary but allowing it a few moments to breathe will enhance its nuanced flavors.
